Grey is the actual price with its long-run drift taken out, so you only see the swings. Green is those swings rebuilt from the three strongest rhythms. The closer green follows grey, the more of the movement is rhythmic rather than random. The white dot is the live price.

Like an audio frequency analyzer, for price. Time runs left to right; slow rhythms are at the bottom and fast ones at the top (on a log scale, like audio); brighter means stronger. A steady bright band is a rhythm that has held the whole time. A band that fades, appears or drifts up or down is a rhythm weakening, emerging or changing speed. The dashed line marks the main rhythm (f₁); “f₁ ↓” means it’s slower than this view can show — use a longer candle interval.
